Monday, August 23rd, 2010Despite the smoke clouding our Central Alberta skies (from forest fires over 800 km away) we headed out to Waiprous this past weekend for our annual quad/dirt bike trip with friends from Calgary! I’m so glad we braved the smokey weather as it was nearly clear in the mountains!
A bit of cold weather, a baby moniter that didn’t work, one tumble by Dad — but a lot of fun the whole weekend! Big thanks to Jamie & Carey for putting on another awesome weekend and for making such great lookin’ kids to photograph!

Sunday, July 11th, 2010Today I got to meet, and photograph, Owen Lee Gordon M. The best part? He is my brand-spankin’ new nephew and he is only 3 days old! He looks exactly like his big brother and already has the cutest ‘smile’. Even though it darn near killed me, here is the “one” picture sneak peek from his mini-session today!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010The Zimmermann Photography family just returned from our very first real family vacation as a foursome! We headed out to Vancouver for 5 days to visit friends & family and do some shopping! We had a fantastic time and wish we weren’t back to reality already. Check out some shots from our trip below — and yes, that is the Kim Cathers from Project Runway Canada… no big deal! LOL

Monday, June 21st, 2010This week is Aisley’s first birthday and last week we celebrated by sitting her in the backyard next to a pretty pink cake! I’m sure you can guess what happened — it was awesome! Aisley had such a great time (not to mention a lot of sugar) and I loved capturing the fun! A BIG thanks to Aisley’s Momma for keeping the Zimmermann Photography dogs quiet!
Happy Birthday to little miss Aisley! I hope to be there to capture many more smash cake birthdays for you!

Monday, April 12th, 2010Although I am currently [still] waiting for baby no. 2 and am on break from client work at the moment, I have been reminded that I don’t get a ‘baby-break’ from taking my own family’s photos! So on one of the nicer days we had, I took Carter & Zach to a new location [in my backyard] and snapped a couple shots before they ran off to play again.
