The Zimmermann Photography family just returned from our very first real family vacation as a foursome! We headed out to Vancouver for 5 days to visit friends & family and do some shopping! We had a fantastic time and wish we weren’t back to reality already. Check out some shots from our trip below — and yes, that is the Kim Cathers from Project Runway Canada… no big deal! LOL
Although I am currently [still] waiting for baby no. 2 and am on break from client work at the moment, I have been reminded that I don’t get a ‘baby-break’ from taking my own family’s photos! So on one of the nicer days we had, I took Carter & Zach to a new location [in my backyard] and snapped a couple shots before they ran off to play again.

Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of shooting the handsome Mr. Benson, his mommy and a pregnant friend of hers! He was such a fantastic little man and held it together until the very end when he was just too tired to do anymore! While Benson took a little lunch break, I used the opportunity to snap a few photos of his ‘auntie’ and her beautiful pregnant belly!
Before they all came over, however, my own little man helped mommy set up and make sure the lighting was just right. This first one is his “sitting like daddy” pose…. note the low zipper! lol

This morning, my mini-assistant and I headed out to the erskine area to take some photos of a birthday girl! Today is Hailey’s first birthday and we were so happy to spend some time with her today! Even though it was less than tropical out, we had a ton of fun with Hailey & her mommy on their beautiful farm!
