I headed out south of Botha today to meet with a family new to me on their ranch. First, I spent a little time with the beautiful daughter and really got to know all about her! I’m always happy to meet such an outgoing, personable young lady!

When mom and dad were ready, we all headed out to the pasture to get some shots in the changing trees. We found the most beautiful log for the family to sit on, surrounded by red and yellow and green leaves. I sent the family into the opening and proceeded to configure my lighting settings. The next thing I know, mom and daughter are bookin’ it back the other way and I have noclue what’s going on! Then I realize dad is trying to scare away a SKUNK from it’s den, conveniently located in this beautiful spot! At the sake of losing a perfect location, we decided it was better not to experience first hand the wrath of an angry skunk! However, you’ll see the rest of the location was just as beautiful — not that it mattered with such a good looking family!
